Green Building Services

SUSTAINABILITY CONSULTING

We align each client’s mission and objectives with desired sustainability outcomes to achieve true alignment of values with brand.  Understanding key drivers of sustainability, whether they be habitat restoration, good indoor air quality or energy cost savings, is important to meeting project goals.  The integrative design process provides the foundation for this understanding, and we incorporate many different tools, based on the project scope, including:

  • Eco-charrette facilitation with various stakeholders
  • Coordination of working meetings with consultants
  • Public speaking engagements and green conference planning

BIOPHILIC DESIGN RESEARCH

Using nature as a model for the design of products, buildings, and landscapes is truly an integrative method for creating harmony between human activities and the natural environment with which we are a part.  Through our access to current research and a working relationship with the Biomimicry Institute, we are able to assist designers and manufacturers in creating and using new technologies to further triple bottom line goals.

TARGETED PRODUCT RESEARCH

Are you trying to find a specific green product for your building?  Or do you want to compare different materials in terms of life cycle cost or durability?  Or do you need to understand what exactly is required under LEED v4’s Materials and Resources credits?  We often do this as part of our interior design projects, but offer this as an independent service for clients as well.
